Industry Calls Archives: Computer - November 2000
Computers
Thursday, November 30, 2000:  We believe that we are now close enough to absolute lows, particularly in the semiconductor and computer areas, to buy now and participate in virtually all upside, while risking very, very little on the downside.
Monday, November 20,2000:  With the overall sector down over 30% from its August-September highs and down 40% since March, and with bullish signals at strength level 5 (strength of signals varies from 1-weakest to 5-strongest) on three-fourths of the computer stocks we follow, we will be looking for significant strength from this area. Monday, November 13, 2000 Despite strong bullish signals that we're picking up, we see just a little reason to worry, in that on Friday, several of the major high tech sectors, as well as the NASDAQ as a whole broke through major support to complete bearish patterns that imply as much as 10 or 15% more downside (on nasdaq and particularly the computer sector).
