Industry Calls Archives: Computer - January 2001
Computer
Wednesday, January 17, 2001:  Overall market sell.  Sell on tech sectors.

Thursday, January 11, 2001:  Sell.  We've got bearish signals on all but one of the stocks that we track in this sector, most of which came today.  And with several of the stocks in this sector up

30-35% in the last week, they're due for a bit of a breather.

Thursday, January 4, 2001:  Overall market downtrend expected.

Sell.  This sector has risen 17% on the Fed news, with some stocks gaining as much as 30 or 40% in the last day or two.  While several companies in this industry are starting to look more like relative value plays, the signals we are getting are primarily bearish for now and indicate that the sector should drift down with the overall market in the immediate future.
